dealing with injuries is always a total mind-f$%k... personally being out of commission since early February this yr has been brutal yet very real. I've come to be reminded to appreciate what I have, what I've done, where I've been and be happy with that. balancing the humble reality of our fragile bodies with our divine souls - these states of disequilibrium are states of learning... profound moments of learning.
so visualizing footage of Chile and the upcoming first stop of the Big Wave World Tour, is a sweet torture to NOT lose hope in reaching further, in embracing our short lives yet keeping our ego in check and knowing that as big wave surfers, we are already winners in a cosmic sense - so remember that, as Doc would say :) so that you keep working to feel 100%... and now another week to work on getting there. all good!
